Dr Sindhu Ramesh completed her Under graduation from Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University in 1996. She joined for her Post Graduate program in 1996 at Saveetha Dental College, Tamil Nadu Dr MGR University and completed in1999. Early 2000 she joined Saveetha Dental College as a Senior Lecturer. In 2003 was promoted as Assistant Professor . She was incharge and started new system the Comprehensive clinic and a new additional subjects introduced for undergraduate students, Dental Armamentarium and Esthetic Dentistry. She was the tool to start a course on MSc Biomaterial . Professor in 2006 handling Post Graduate program. She has done several projects in field of Nanomaterials, Target Drug delivery, Pain management in Endodontics, Lasers and Local Anesthetia.

Other credentials include, the "Workaholic Award " in two consecutive years 2012 and 2013. Was the co author for " Young Achiever Award" by Septodent in IADR 2016, Seoul, Korea . Has received the "Unilever Hatton Award" for IADR 2017, SanFrancisco,California for the study she had guided and co authored. She had also co- authored various several awards both in international and National forum.

Has several publications to her credit in Thomas Reuters, PubMed and Scopus journals. She is the Editor in chief for International Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Has organised several International and National conferences and also attended several. Has close to 40 projects ongoing in various recent topics. Has completed 18 clinical trials in Conservative and Endodontics. In addition to her contributions, she has participated in various conferences international and national, and attended many continuing education courses and workshops. She also runs advance clinical courses and is the Director for Microendodontics, Rotary Endodontics, Tooth Whitening systems. She has chaired numerous scientific sessions and been a member of various committees and associations like IADR, ISDR , IACDE , Forensic Dentistry , Biomaterial organisation and many more. She took over as Chair of Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2011. Later in 2012, appointed as the Associated Dean of Clinics, Saveetha Dental College. The comprehensive clinic system started under her supervision and guidance, one of the kind in India. She instills her students to out rank others and to desire to perform to the best of their abilities.
