A new innovative endodontic NiTi rotary file. This file has a unique design i.e, variable taper and a rectangular cross-section. The rectangular cross-section enables two-point contact thereby providing more space for debris to move out in the coronal direction. Variably variable taper improves the cutting efficacy and brings about a smooth preparation of the root canal walls. This heat-treated file is coated with titanium oxide thereby providing the blue colour to the rotary file . This cross-section has a two-point contact thereby reducing apical extrusion of debris, maintain canal curvature or natural anatomy as closely as possible and reducing the tendency of the file to fracture. Thereby providing smoothly prepared canals which can receive the obturating material.
